Double Burglary Appeal: Two Homes Ransacked by Burglars in Lisburn

The Police Service of Northern Ireland is appealing for information after two separate homes in the Lisburn area were broken into and ransacked by burglars on the same day.

The burglaries, which occurred on or around Friday, 24th October 2025, involved intruders forcing entry to the properties, searching throughout the rooms, and stealing items of value. Police are currently investigating whether the two incidents are linked due to their close proximity and similar modus operandi.

A PSNI spokesperson commented: "We are investigating two reports of burglaries in Lisburn where homes were ransacked. This has been a deeply distressing experience for the homeowners. We are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen suspicious activity or vehicles in the area, or who may have dashcam or doorbell footage, to come forward."

Homeowners in the area are being urged to review their home security measures. Police have issued general advice, reminding residents to ensure all access points are secure, outdoor lighting is functioning, and valuables are kept out of sight.
