Masked Gang Ransacks Lisburn Home Leaving Female Occupant Badly Shaken

A police investigation has been launched after a masked gang forced entry into a house in Lisburn, ransacked the premises, and left a female occupant badly shaken by the ordeal.

The aggravated burglary occurred on the evening of Saturday, 20th September 2025. A group of masked individuals forced their way into the property, confronting the resident. The gang then proceeded to search the home, ransacking rooms in search of valuables before fleeing the scene.

Although the female victim did not suffer physical injuries, she was left extremely distressed and shaken by the violent intrusion into her home. Police and support services have been providing assistance to the victim.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and noticed a group of individuals or any suspicious vehicles to contact the police immediately. "This was a terrifying incident for the occupant in her own home, where she should feel safest," a PSNI detective said. "We are appealing for any information, CCTV, or dashcam footage that could help us identify those responsible."
