Hampshire Police Appeal for Witnesses After Southampton Shop Burglary

SOUTHAMPTON, Hampshire — Hampshire Police have launched a public appeal for witnesses following a commercial burglary at a retail premises in Southampton.

The break-in occurred on or shortly before Saturday, February 15, 2025. Officers were called to the scene after staff reported that the shop had been breached and items were stolen. Investigation teams are currently reviewing local closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage and conducting forensic enquiries at the location.

Authorities are urging anyone who was in the vicinity at the time and noticed any suspicious activity, or anyone with dashcam or doorbell footage from the surrounding streets, to contact Hampshire Police immediately.

"We are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed individuals acting suspiciously near the shop," a police spokesperson said. Information can be submitted online or by calling 101, quoting the reference number provided by officers.
