Teenage boys chased by trio in attempted robbery on London Road, Wellingborough

An investigation has been launched after a group of teenage boys were chased down London Road in Wellingborough during a terrifying attempted robbery.

The incident involved three suspects who pursued the victims along the busy thoroughfare. While the suspects attempted to rob the boys, the victims managed to escape without suffering physical injuries, though they were left shaken by the ordeal. The suspects fled the scene shortly after the chase.

Northamptonshire Police are appealing for any witnesses who were in the London Road area of Wellingborough and saw the group of teenagers being pursued by three individuals. Investigators are particularly keen to obtain any dashcam footage from motorists who were driving along London Road at the time, or any CCTV footage from nearby commercial premises or residential properties.
