Newly Opened York Shop Targeted in Early Morning Burglary

Smash-and-Grab at New Savers Store

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses following an early-morning burglary at a newly opened retail store in the busy York suburb of Acomb. The incident occurred at the Savers store on Front Street at approximately 1:50 am on May 25. Thieves brazenly smashed the large front shop window to gain entry to the premises.
