Two Juveniles Arrested Following Attempted Robbery at Bakersfield Store

BAKERSFIELD, California — Two juvenile suspects have been arrested following a failed robbery attempt at a local retail store in Bakersfield, according to statements released by the police department.

The incident occurred on Sunday, December 29, 2024, when officers were dispatched to a business location following reports of an active robbery attempt. Store employees reported that the two children entered the establishment and attempted to take merchandise by force, threatening staff members in the process.
