Bradenton Man Arrested After Convenience Store Robbery Involving AR-15

BRADENTON, FL — A local man faces severe felony charges after allegedly orchestrating a broad-daylight robbery of a Bradenton convenience store using a military-style rifle. According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, the suspect entered the business brandishing an AR-15, creating a high-stress environment for both employees and patrons.

Deputies reported that the suspect pointed the semi-automatic rifle at the store clerk, demanding cash from the register and several store items. Fearing for their lives, the store employees complied with the demands. The suspect then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise.

Following an immediate response and investigation by law enforcement, deputies successfully identified and apprehended the Bradenton resident. He was booked into the Manatee County Jail on multiple charges, including armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Authorities recovered the weapon used during the incident, and no injuries were reported during the heist.
