Armed Suspect at Large Following Series of Burlington Gas Station Robberies

BURLINGTON, Massachusetts — Law enforcement agencies in Burlington are dealing with a concerning uptick in commercial robberies, focusing their efforts on identifying suspects involved in a string of armed gas station hold-ups. The most recent incident occurred at a Cruizers convenience and gas station, where an armed individual held up the cashier at gunpoint before fleeing with cash.

According to police reports, the suspect—described as a masked male brandishing a handgun—entered the station, confronted the clerk, and demanded money from the register. The suspect fled into the night immediately after the encounter. While no physical injuries were reported, the clerk was left shaken by the ordeal. K-9 units and regional investigators were dispatched to the scene, and police are currently analyzing local surveillance footage to track the suspect's movements.

This incident follows other similar robberies in the area over the past several months, including an armed hold-up in May and another in March.
