Bail Set to $250,000 for Carson City Man Charged with Kidnapping and Armed Robbery of Food Mart

CARSON CITY, NV — A Carson City man remains in custody under a significantly increased bail of $250,000 following a court appearance related to a violent armed robbery and kidnapping incident at a local food mart.

The state requested the bail increase due to the severity of the charges and the potential threat to public safety. According to police reports, the suspect entered the food mart on a Sunday, brandishing a weapon and holding a victim against their will during the commission of the robbery.
