Police Chase Concludes on Chicago's West Side Following Armed Robbery at Cicero Gas Station

CICERO, Illinois โ€” A gas station heist in Cicero, Illinois, culminated in a multi-agency police pursuit and the arrest of multiple suspects on the West Side of Chicago.

According to the Cicero Police Department, armed suspects targeted a local gas station, threatening employees before fleeing with cash. Responding officers spotted the getaway vehicle, initiating a chase that quickly spilled onto the Eisenhower Expressway (Interstate 290) and extended into the city limits of Chicago.

The high-speed pursuit ended on Chicago's West Side, where officers blocked the vehicle and arrested the occupants. A total of six individuals, including three juveniles, were taken into custody. Investigators recovered the stolen currency and the weapons suspected of being used in the robbery. Charges of armed robbery, fleeing and eluding, and unlawful use of weapons are pending against the suspects.
