Citrus Heights Shipping Store Reels From Back-to-Back Burglaries Within Days

CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA — A local shipping store in Citrus Heights has been targeted in two consecutive commercial burglaries, leaving the business owners devastated and local authorities searching for answers. The back-to-back break-ins occurred within a short time frame, compounding the damages and losses suffered by the small business.

According to Citrus Heights Police Department records, the first incident took place in early September 2024, when burglars forced entry into the store overnight, ransacking the counters and stealing valuable customer packages, electronics, and cash. Before the owners could fully repair the damage and upgrade security measures, the store was targeted a second time, with suspects breaking in again to steal remaining merchandise.

The double blow has sparked concern among neighboring business owners in the strip mall, who fear they may be next. "It's incredibly demoralizing to be hit twice in such a short period. We are working hard to serve our community, and this puts an enormous financial and emotional strain on our operations," said the store manager, who requested anonymity.
