Concord Police Investigate High-End Smash-and-Grab Robbery at Sunvalley Mall

CONCORD, California — Police are actively investigating a brazen daytime smash-and-grab robbery that occurred at the Sunvalley Shopping Center, marking another incident in a series of organized retail thefts targeting the East Bay mall.

According to the Concord Police Department, officers were dispatched to the shopping center following reports of a robbery in progress. Multiple suspects entered a retail store inside the mall, quickly shattered display cases, and grabbed valuable merchandise before fleeing the scene.
