Burglary Suspect Apprehended After Multi-City Police Pursuit

EVERETT, WA — A burglary suspect has been arrested following a high-speed police pursuit that spanned multiple cities in Snohomish County on the morning of June 13, 2026. The chase, which initiated in Everett and concluded in Lake Stevens, involved multiple law enforcement agencies working together to stop the fleeing driver.

The incident began when Everett Police responded to an active commercial burglary alarm. Upon arrival, officers spotted a suspect attempting to flee the scene in a vehicle. When officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the driver sped off, initiating a pursuit. The suspect drove recklessly, posing a significant danger to public safety as they fled eastbound away from the city center.

With assistance from the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, spikes strips were successfully deployed, eventually disabling the suspect's vehicle as it entered Lake Stevens. The suspect was arrested at the scene without further incident and has been booked into the Snohomish County Jail on charges of commercial burglary, felony eluding, and reckless driving.
