Police Search for Suspects in Fairfield Home Burglary and Vehicle Theft After High-Speed Chase

FAIRFIELD, California — Authorities are asking for the public's assistance in identifying multiple suspects who fled following a residential burglary and motor vehicle theft in Fairfield. The incident occurred on March 23, 2026, leading to a police chase before the suspects ultimately managed to escape.

According to local law enforcement, the suspects broke into a local residence, stole several personal belongings, and drove off in one of the homeowner's vehicles. Responding patrol officers spotted the stolen vehicle and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The driver refused to pull over, initiating a pursuit. Due to safety concerns, officers terminated the active chase when the suspect vehicle entered a heavily populated area. The vehicle was later found abandoned nearby, and police have launched a comprehensive investigation to locate the suspects. Security footage is currently being analyzed to identify the perpetrators.
