Burglary Suspect Arrested After Shooting Police K-9 During Fort Lauderdale Pursuit

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — A commercial burglary suspect who allegedly shot a Fort Lauderdale police K-9 during a dramatic foot chase has been arrested. The suspect faces multiple felony charges, including the shooting of a police dog, burglary, and resisting arrest with violence.
