Trackdown: Fort Worth Police Search for Armed Burglar Smashing Doors

FORT WORTH, Texas — The Fort Worth Police Department has launched a 'Trackdown' investigation to locate a dangerous and armed burglar who has been breaking into homes by smashing front doors.

The alert was issued on November 26, 2025, after a series of incidents in the area. Surveillance footage has captured a suspect armed with a handgun repeatedly utilizing force to breach entry points of residential properties.

Aggressive Tactics and Armed Threat

Investigators report that the suspect's method involves walking up to front doors and forcefully smashing them open, showing a flagrant disregard for whether the homes are occupied. In several recorded instances, the suspect can be seen holding a firearm, raising the level of threat to residents.

“This is an aggressive individual who is armed and dangerous,” said a department spokesperson. “We need the community's assistance in identifying this person before someone gets hurt.”
