Gainesville Man Arrested for October Armed Robbery at Come N Go Store

GAINESVILLE, Florida — Gainesville police officers have arrested a local man suspected of carrying out an armed robbery at the Come N Go store earlier this fall. The arrest concludes a multi-week investigation into the incident, which occurred in mid-October.

Looking at case records from the Gainesville Police Department, the suspect entered the Come N Go convenience store during the evening hours of October. Brandishing a weapon, the suspect demanded cash from the register and fled the scene before police could arrive. Investigators collected physical evidence and reviewed security footage from the store to identify a suspect.

Following a detailed investigation, detectives located the suspect in December and placed him under arrest. He faces charges of armed robbery and is being held in the Alachua County Jail.
