Greece Resident Arrested for State Street Business Break-In

GREECE, N.Y. — A local Greece resident is facing burglary charges after allegedly breaking into a commercial establishment on State Street, authorities confirmed.

Police responded to an alarm at the business during the early morning hours and discovered forced entry through a window. A K-9 unit and patrol officers searched the area, quickly locating and detaining the suspect nearby. Investigators identified the individual as a resident of the town of Greece.

The suspect has been charged with burglary in the third degree and criminal mischief. Authorities are looking into whether this incident is related to other recent commercial break-ins along the State Street corridor.
