Sheriff's Office Confirms Second Arrest in Violent Louis Street Home Invasion
GREENVILLE, South Carolina โ Deputies with the local Sheriff's Office have confirmed a second arrest in the ongoing investigation into a violent home invasion that occurred on Louis Street in Greenville. The latest arrest represents a significant step forward in securing justice for the victims of the residential assault.
The incident, which took place in mid-February 2026, involved multiple armed suspects forcing their way into a home on Louis Street. The occupants of the residence were threatened and held at gunpoint while the suspects ransacked the home for valuables. One victim sustained minor physical injuries during the confrontation and received treatment at the scene.
Ongoing Investigation and Secondary Apprehension
Following the initial arrest of a primary suspect shortly after the home invasion, detectives continued to trace leads to locate the remaining individuals involved in the conspiracy. The second suspect was tracked to a nearby residence and arrested by the Sheriff's Office tactical unit without incident.
The newly arrested suspect faces severe charges, including first-degree burglary, armed robbery, kidnapping, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. They are currently being held at the detention center without bond, awaiting their initial court appearance.
"Home invasions are incredibly traumatizing crimes that violate the safety of our citizens' most private spaces. We will continue to pursue every lead until all suspects are behind bars."
It was reported that the Sheriff's Office is still investigating whether the home was targeted specifically or if it was a random act of violence. The search for any additional accomplices remains active, and anyone with information regarding the Louis Street home invasion is encouraged to contact the Sheriff's Office.
