Armed Robbery at Unlicensed Game Room
Preliminary investigations reveal that multiple armed suspects entered the establishment, which authorities identified as an illegal, unlicensed game room. The suspects demanded money and confronted the security guard. A physical or verbal altercation ensued, during which the suspects opened fire, striking the guard.

Crackdown on Illegal Establishments
This fatal shooting highlights ongoing concerns regarding illegal game rooms in Houston, which are often targets for robberies due to the large amounts of cash on hand. City officials and local police have repeatedly warned about the safety hazards associated with these unregulated businesses.
"These game rooms operate outside the law and often lack proper security measures, making them hotbeds for violent crime," a police spokesperson stated. Anyone with information on the suspects or the operation of this game room is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers.
