Huntsville Man Charged with Assault and Robbery Following Oster Drive Shooting

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — A Huntsville man has been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting and subsequent robbery on Oster Drive. The incident, which took place on April 20, 2026, left one individual injured and prompted a rapid response from local law enforcement and medical teams.

As reported by Rocket City Now, emergency personnel were dispatched to the Oster Drive area following reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment, where they are currently recovering from their injuries.

Following a preliminary investigation, police identified and apprehended a suspect, who has since been charged with first-degree robbery and assault.
