Thieves Smash Stolen Car into Hubby's Pizza in Kennewick in Attempted ATM Theft; Suspects Identified

KENNEWICK, WA — An investigation is underway after a group of thieves utilized a stolen vehicle to smash through the front entrance of Hubby's Pizza in Kennewick in a brazen attempt to steal the establishment's ATM. The incident, which caused extensive structural damage to the popular local pizza parlor, took place in the early hours of Thursday, October 16, 2025.

According to the Kennewick Police Department, the suspects drove a stolen passenger car directly through the glass doors and storefront wall of the business. Once inside, they attempted to load the restaurant's automated teller machine (ATM) into the vehicle. However, their attempts to secure the cash machine failed, forcing them to abandon the ATM and flee the scene before officers arrived.

In the weeks following the break-in, detectives worked to identify the individuals involved. By early November, police officially identified two primary suspects and persons of interest in the case, releasing surveillance images to the public. Law enforcement is urging anyone with information regarding the suspects' whereabouts or the incident to contact the Kennewick Police Department as they continue to pursue active leads.
