Police Arrest Lexington Park Man After Armed Robbery Across from St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office
LEONARDTOWN, Md. — In a brazen display of criminal activity, an armed robbery took place in broad daylight directly across the street from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office headquarters. The incident concluded with the immediate arrest of a Lexington Park resident.
According to police reports, on March 17, 2025, the suspect approached a victim in the vicinity of the sheriff's office and brandished a weapon, demanding money and personal items. After obtaining the belongings, the suspect attempted to flee the scene on foot.
Given the proximity to the police station, deputies were on the scene within moments of the victim raising the alarm.
