Teens Arrested in Lincoln Vape Shop Burglaries, Including Bizarre 'Tigger' Costume Break-In

LINCOLN, Nebraska — A series of repeat burglaries at a north Lincoln vape shop, featuring a bizarre break-in by a suspect clad in a Disney costume, has led to multiple arrests and subsequent legal proceedings in Lancaster County District Court.

The crime spree first caught public attention in March 2024, when surveillance footage captured an individual wearing a full-body Tigger costume hopping through the shattered window of a local vape shop to steal merchandise. The unusual footage quickly spread, prompting an intensive investigation by Lincoln police.

Following continued break-ins at the same north Lincoln location through early 2025, police arrested multiple teenagers. Authorities allege the youth repeatedly targeted the business over a period of several months, causing thousands of dollars in property damage and stolen goods. One of the main teen suspects has officially been bound over to Lancaster County District Court to face multiple counts of burglary and criminal mischief as an adult.
