Burglary at East Lincoln Adult Store After Suspect Smashes Front Door

LINCOLN, Nebraska — Authorities are investigating a break-in at an adult novelty store in East Lincoln after a burglar smashed through the front glass entrance to gain access to the building.

Officers with the Lincoln Police Department responded to reports of a commercial burglary early Wednesday morning. Upon arriving, police found the front door of the establishment completely shattered. The suspect had entered the premises, quickly gathered various items of merchandise, and fled the scene before law enforcement could arrive.

Investigators are currently reviewing security footage from the store and surrounding businesses in an effort to identify the suspect. Anyone with information regarding the break-in is encouraged to contact the Lincoln Police Department or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
