Accused Burglar Caught Inside Lincoln Store Wearing Harley-Davidson Clothing

LINCOLN, Nebraska — An alleged burglar was arrested inside a local store after officers caught him red-handed, wearing brand-new Harley-Davidson apparel that he had allegedly taken from the retail shelves during the break-in.

Lincoln Police Department officers responded to an alarm at the commercial establishment late Wednesday night. Upon arriving and securing the perimeter, officers entered the building to conduct a search. They located the suspect still inside the store. In a bizarre turn of events, the suspect had already changed into Harley-Davidson branded clothing from the store's inventory.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident and faces charges of commercial burglary and theft. All the stolen merchandise, including the clothing the suspect was wearing, was recovered and returned to the store owners. The suspect remains in custody as legal proceedings begin.
