Cash Stolen from Register in Nighttime Livingston Restaurant Burglary

LIVINGSTON, New Jersey — A Livingston restaurant was burglarized during the early morning hours, leading to the theft of cash from the establishment's register. The Livingston Police Department responded to the scene after store employees arrived in the morning and discovered signs of forced entry.

According to authorities, the suspect or suspects broke a glass window to gain access to the interior of the restaurant. Once inside, they targeted the front counter area, forcing open the cash register and fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash. No other major property damage was reported inside the dining area.

Detectives are currently reviewing security video from the restaurant and neighboring businesses to identify the perpetrator. The police department is asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity near the commercial plaza during the early morning of November 11, 2025, to contact investigators.
