Suspect Apprehended After Armed Robbery at Marietta Donuts

MARIETTA, GA — Marietta police have taken a suspect into custody following a frightening armed robbery at Marietta Donuts, a popular local business. The robbery took place during regular operating hours, leaving staff and early morning customers visibly shaken.

According to police records, a male suspect entered the donut shop, approached the counter, and brandished a weapon while demanding money from the cash register. After securing an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene on foot. Fortunately, no store employees or customers were injured during the confrontation.

Detectives immediately launched an investigation, utilizing physical descriptions from store employees and reviewing security footage. Their efforts paid off when officers located the suspect shortly after the incident and booked him into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
