Juvenile Arrested Following Friday Night Robberies in New Haven

NEW HAVEN, CT — New Haven police have taken a juvenile into custody in connection with one of two robberies reported on Friday night. The double incidents triggered an active response from patrol units and detectives across the city.

According to authorities, the first robbery took place during the evening hours, followed shortly by a second reported incident in a different neighborhood. Officers canvassing the area of one of the robberies located a suspect matching the description provided by the victim. After a brief pursuit, police detained the suspect, who was subsequently identified as a juvenile.

The minor faces charges related to robbery and larceny. Investigators are still working to determine if the two Friday night incidents are connected, and they continue to search for potential accomplices.
