Three Teenagers Apprehended by Odessa Police Following Smoke Shop Burglary

ODESSA, Texas — Three teenagers are in police custody following a break-in at a local smoke shop in Odessa on December 12, 2025. Officers responded to an active burglar alarm at the business and arrived to find forced entry to the building.

According to the Odessa Police Department, officers observed three suspects fleeing the scene as patrol cars arrived. Following a brief foot pursuit, all three individuals were apprehended by law enforcement. The suspects, who are all minors, were found to be in possession of merchandise stolen from the smoke shop.

The teenagers have been charged with burglary of a building and evading arrest. Due to their status as juveniles, their names have not been released. The stolen inventory was recovered and returned to the store owner. Police noted that no officers or suspects were injured during the pursuit and arrests.
