Armed Gunmen Pistol-Whip Man Inside Southwest Philadelphia Home

A resident of Southwest Philadelphia was injured and left shaken after armed gunmen forced their way into his home in a violent home invasion. Law enforcement officials have launched a full investigation into the assault and robbery, which occurred in a residential neighborhood.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, multiple suspects armed with handguns forced entry into the residence. Upon encountering the male occupant inside, the gunmen assaulted him by pistol-whipping him while demanding money and valuables. The suspects proceeded to search the home before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.

Emergency medical services responded to the scene and treated the victim for lacerations and head injuries sustained during the assault.
