PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating two separate thefts that targeted patrons at cafes in the Northern Liberties neighborhood.

According to police reports, both incidents occurred at local coffee shops in the popular and highly trafficked Northern Liberties area. In both cases, unsuspecting customers had their personal belongings, including wallets, electronics, or bags, stolen while they were distracted. Investigators believe the thefts may have been committed by the same suspect or a coordinated group targeting busy cafes where patrons often leave items unattended.

Authorities are reviewing security camera footage from the affected cafes and surrounding streets to identify the perpetrators.
