Pueblo County Suspect Arrested After Business Break-In and Company Vehicle Theft

PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. — A suspect is facing multiple criminal charges after a break-in at a Pueblo County business escalated into the theft of a company vehicle. The incident, which triggered a swift response from local law enforcement, occurred in mid-February.

According to the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a report of a commercial burglary in progress. Upon arrival, they discovered that the suspect had gained entry into the building, ransacked the premises, and subsequently located keys to a company-owned vehicle parked on site. The suspect then fled the scene in the stolen vehicle.

Following an active search, deputies managed to locate the vehicle and apprehend the suspect without further incident. The suspect remains in custody and is facing charges of commercial burglary, grand theft auto, and criminal mischief. Investigations are ongoing to determine if he is linked to other recent business burglaries in the area.
