Three Men Charged Following Thwarted Residential Break-In in Richmond Hill

RICHMOND HILL, NY — Three men have been arrested and charged following a thwarted residential break-in in a Richmond Hill neighborhood, police announced on Wednesday.

According to law enforcement officials, officers responded to a call regarding suspicious activity at a residential property in the early hours of May 22, 2024. Upon arrival, police observed three individuals attempting to gain entry into the home. The suspects fled the scene on foot but were quickly apprehended by responding officers after a brief pursuit.

The three suspects, whose identities have not yet been released pending formal arraignment, face multiple charges including attempted breaking and entering, possession of burglar's tools, and conspiracy to commit a crime.
