Riverside Jewelry Store Owner Uses Gunfire to Repel Smash-and-Grab Robbers

A group of armed and masked suspects attempting a brazen smash-and-grab robbery at a jewelry boutique in Riverside were forced to flee empty-handed after the store owner defended the business with gunfire. The incident occurred on February 19, 2024, in a busy retail sector of the city.

A Dramatic Confrontation

According to eyewitness accounts and police reports, the suspects entered the establishment brandishing heavy tools, intending to shatter display cases and snatch high-value items. Before they could execute their plan, the shop owner, who was armed, acted quickly to protect himself, his staff, and his property. He drew a handgun and fired multiple shots in the direction of the intruders.
