Investigation Underway Following Suspicious Fire and Burglary at Oakmont High School in Roseville

Roseville emergency personnel and law enforcement are investigating a suspicious sequence of events at Oakmont High School after a fire and break-in were reported on the campus premises.

First responders were dispatched to the high school following reports of a fire. Upon arrival, fire crews successfully contained and extinguished the blaze, which is currently being treated as suspicious. During the response, emergency personnel also discovered signs of forced entry and ransacking, prompting a concurrent burglary investigation by the Roseville Police Department.

Police officers searched the school grounds to ensure no suspects remained on site. Investigators are currently working with school administrators to audit campus inventory and determine what items were stolen or damaged. Both the Roseville Fire Department's arson unit and school resource officers are reviewing security camera footage from the campus to identify those responsible for the break-in and subsequent fire.
