Two Suspects Detained Following Attempted Break-in at Round Rock Best Buy

ROUND ROCK, Texas — Quick action by the Round Rock Police Department led to the arrest of two individuals accused of attempting to break into a Best Buy retail location early Saturday morning.

On January 3, 2026, officers responded to reports of suspicious activity and triggered security systems at the Best Buy store. Responding units quickly converged on the scene and discovered the two suspects actively attempting to breach the building's exterior entry points.

Both suspects were immediately detained by law enforcement on-site before they could gain full access to the store's interior electronics inventory. Following an initial investigation at the scene, both individuals were arrested and transported to the Williamson County Jail.
