Burglary Suspect Apprehended After Being Caught on Live Security Feed in Round Rock

ROUND ROCK, Texas — Modern security technology led directly to the arrest of a burglary suspect on Monday, after business owners observed the break-in in real-time on a live security feed.

On the afternoon of December 1, 2025, Round Rock Police received an emergency dispatch after a property owner called to report a burglary in progress at their commercial facility. The owner, utilizing a remote monitoring system, was able to describe the suspect's movements and exact location inside the building to dispatchers.

Arriving officers surrounded the building within minutes. Because of the live updates, officers quickly located the suspect still inside the property. The individual was taken into custody without incident.
