Bridgeport Man Charged in Attempted Stamford Business Robbery

STAMFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man has been formally charged in connection with an attempted robbery at a Stamford business, according to police reports. The suspect, who was already in custody and facing charges related to a recent robbery in neighboring Fairfield, now faces additional counts of criminal attempt to commit robbery in the local jurisdiction.

The charges stem from an incident at a commercial establishment in Stamford. Police officers responded to a report of an active heist in progress.
