Stockton Police Shoot Robbery Suspect; Replica Firearm Recovered at Scene

STOCKTON, California — Stockton police officers were involved in a shooting incident on Saturday that left a robbery suspect wounded. Investigators later determined that the firearm carried by the suspect was actually a replica gun.

According to reports from the Stockton Police Department, officers responded to a call regarding an ongoing robbery in progress. Upon encountering the suspect, a confrontation ensued, leading to officers discharging their service weapons. The suspect was struck and immediately transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The suspect's condition has not been detailed, though they are expected to survive.
