SUGAR LAND, Texas — The Sugar Land Police Department is requesting public assistance in identifying a suspect who forced a woman to withdraw cash from a local bank ATM at gunpoint. The alarming incident has prompted authorities to issue safety reminders for ATM users in the area.

Coerced ATM Withdrawal

According to police reports, the victim was approached by an unidentified male suspect who brandished a weapon and forced her to drive to a nearby ATM. Under duress, the victim withdrew a sum of money and handed it over to the assailant. The suspect then fled the scene immediately after receiving the cash.
