Multiple People Shot During Attempted Armed Robbery in Tempe

TEMPE, AZ — A robbery attempt escalated into a scene of violence over the weekend, resulting in gunfire that left multiple people wounded in Tempe, according to local police.

The incident took place on Saturday afternoon, October 11, 2025. Officers responded to reports of shots fired at a business location in Tempe. Upon arrival, officers discovered multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds. First responders administered emergency aid at the scene before transporting the injured individuals to nearby hospitals.

An Escalation of Violence

According to preliminary police reports, the suspect or suspects entered the location with the intent of committing an armed robbery.
