Three Arrested After Serial Thefts Target Two Pharmacies in Thousand Oaks

THOUSAND OAKS, CA — Local authorities have arrested three individuals following a series of commercial thefts at two pharmacies in Thousand Oaks, highlighting ongoing concerns over retail crime crews targeting local businesses.

Deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of suspicious activity and theft at two separate pharmacy locations. According to initial reports, the suspects allegedly entered the establishments, selected high-value items, and fled without paying. Thanks to quick descriptions provided by store employees and witness statements, deputies were able to locate and pull over a vehicle matching the suspects' description shortly after the second incident.

During the vehicle search, officers recovered stolen pharmaceutical goods, cosmetics, and OTC products, totaling a significant retail value. The three occupants of the vehicle were placed under arrest on charges of commercial burglary and grand theft. They have been booked into the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility, pending formal charges by the Ventura County District Attorney's Office.
