Tulsa Police Arrest Suspects in Back-to-Back Liquor Store Robberies Involving Antique Gun and Tequila Theft
TULSA, OK — The Tulsa Police Department has announced arrests in two distinct, high-profile armed robberies targeting local liquor stores, showcasing a string of unusual criminal methods in the area.
In the first incident, officers responded to a robbery where a Tulsa man allegedly confronted store clerks while brandishing an antique firearm. Despite the age of the weapon, employees complied with demands, and the suspect was apprehended shortly afterward following a police search. The unique firearm was recovered by officers as evidence.
In a separate subsequent incident, a masked 16-year-old suspect was arrested after executing a targeted robbery at another Tulsa liquor store. According to police reports, the teenager focused the theft on premium tequila bottles before fleeing the scene. Officers quickly tracked down the juvenile suspect and took him into custody, charging him in connection with the armed robbery.
Both cases highlight the ongoing efforts of Tulsa law enforcement to address commercial armed robberies and secure local businesses. Police continue to investigate whether either suspect is linked to other unsolved business robberies in the metropolitan area.
