Early Morning Break-In at Tulsa Vape Shop Ends in Suspect's Arrest

TULSA, Oklahoma — A burglary at a Tulsa vape shop ended with a suspect behind bars early Friday morning after a rapid response by local law enforcement officers.

According to the Tulsa Police Department, officers were dispatched to the commercial property shortly after receiving a silent security alarm trigger indicating unauthorized entry. When units arrived at the scene, they observed visible signs of forced entry, including shattered glass from the storefront door.

Officers immediately established a perimeter around the building. Upon conducting a search of the immediate area, police located a suspect fleeing the vicinity with merchandise allegedly taken from the shop. The individual was detained and subsequently arrested after brief questioning.

The owner of the vape shop arrived shortly after the arrest to assess the damage. While some inventory was damaged during the break-in, the quick response of the police department prevented the suspect from escaping with a significant amount of product. The suspect is currently being held in the Tulsa County Jail on charges of second-degree burglary and possession of stolen property, with further investigation underway to determine if they are linked to other recent commercial break-ins in the area.
