Suspect Arrested in Grand Theft of Golf Carts at Visalia Country Club

VISALIA, California — Visalia police officers have arrested a suspect accused of stealing multiple golf carts from the Visalia Country Club, resolving a grand theft incident that occurred on the country club property.

On September 8, 2025, staff members at the Visalia Country Club reported that several utility and golf carts had been driven off the property without authorization. Officers responded to the scene to conduct an investigation and search for the missing vehicles.

Shortly after the report, officers located one of the stolen carts being operated nearby. The driver, who was not associated with the country club, was detained and subsequently identified as the primary suspect in the thefts. The remaining golf carts were successfully recovered on and around the property.

The suspect was booked into the Tulare County Jail on charges of grand theft and possession of stolen property. The Visalia Country Club management expressed appreciation for the prompt police response, which prevented permanent loss of the club's equipment.
