Accused serial burglars caught in action breaking into west Houston store, general manager says

HOUSTON, Texas — A business in West Houston became the latest target of a suspected group of serial burglars, but this time, the suspects were caught in the act. The general manager of the establishment reported that security systems successfully alerted staff and law enforcement as the break-in was occurring.

The suspects, who are believed to be linked to a string of recent commercial burglaries in the area, attempted to force entry through a rear door. Security cameras captured their movements, allowing the manager to monitor the situation in real-time and provide precise updates to responding officers.

"We've been on high alert because of other break-ins nearby," the general manager explained. "Having our security protocol work exactly as intended allowed the police to arrive quickly and apprehend the individuals before they could escape with any merchandise."
