Violent home invasion in Dungannon

According to an article published on 6 April 2026, a man was assaulted and tied up during an aggravated burglary at his home in the Whitebridge Road area of Dungannon. Armaghi reports that the incident occurred on the evening of Sunday, 5 April.

The victim was reportedly attacked by two men wearing dark clothing, balaclavas, and gloves after a white van pulled up behind his vehicle. According to Armaghi, the assailants punched and kicked the victim before striking him with a baseball bat. The intruders then tied the man up and ransacked both his home and his van. A quantity of cash, keys, and a mobile phone were stolen during the ordeal.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV or dash-cam footage to come forward. Authorities have provided reference number 1618 of 05/04/26 for those with information.
