Aggravated burglary reported in Lisburn

According to an article published on 21 September 2025 by Belfastlive, a woman was left shaken following an aggravated burglary at a private residence in Lisburn. The incident occurred on the evening of Saturday, 20 September.

Belfastlive reports that three masked men, one of whom was armed with a hammer, forced entry into a house located in The Paddock area shortly after 8 pm. While one individual held the female occupant in a room, the other two suspects proceeded to ransack the property. Police stated that nothing is believed to have been stolen during the incident, and the occupant did not sustain any physical injuries.

Detective Inspector Lenaghan has appealed for anyone with relevant CCTV, dash-cam footage, or information regarding suspicious activity in the area to contact detectives in Lisburn, quoting reference 1791 20/09/25. Reports can also be made anonymously via Crimestoppers.
