According to an article published on 13 November 2025 by Bristolpost, Avon and Somerset Police are investigating an aggravated burglary that occurred in Little Stoke, South Gloucestershire. On Saturday, 8 November, three men forced entry into a residential property at around 2am, leaving the occupants traumatized.

Bristolpost reports that the suspects, described as white and wearing black clothing with face coverings, were allegedly seeking a cannabis farm. Authorities believe the men targeted the wrong address, as the family residing there had no connection to the nearby property where police later discovered and seized a suspected cannabis grow. One man in his early 30s has been arrested in connection with the cultivation of cannabis and has since been released on bail.

Police have confirmed that the family was not physically harmed during the incident. Officers are currently conducting CCTV and house-to-house enquiries to identify the three suspects involved in the burglary.
